Snowboarding
Thank you, James Burton, for making the first snowboard in your little workshop!
Initially inspired by the surfers' moves and feeling of freedom, the first snowboarders triggered a revolution in winter sports that still continues. While the skiers thought it was just another misunderstanding, snowboarders introduced the revolution buzz everywhere - in the outfits, in the riding styles, in the trends it sets. Snowboarding made whole generations wait impatiently for the winter as surfing and skateboarding were no longer enough. It even managed to change the way winter resorts functioned.
Snowboarding is quite a new activity, but it develops very quickly. Nowadays one can find a variety of snowboarding styles ranging from extreme or avalanche snowboarding to calm track styles.
There is a huge diversity in snowboarding gear and clothing as well, invented and cut in a way that allows freedom at any move and trick your snow boarder's heart is pushing you to make. Helmets and protectors were invented for extreme and freestyle snowboarding as it is highly possible that one can hurt himself, so you would surely want to have one of those.
