What do you need for camping? - you will hardly go without a good tent, sleeping bag, mat and light, but there is much more to it. If you are a connoisseur you will want to have all those little lightweight gadgets and camping accessories that all outdoor equipment producers offer lately - compact chairs, tables, mugs, grills and anything else that comes to you mind.
No matter whether you are in Southern France, The USA, North Africa, India or Iceland there are uncountable camping sites that offer basic comfort to all visitors. All of them have baths and toilets, electricity for your camping car and somebody to watch over your tent while you are away.
The other option is to camp on your own, but then you should carefully consider bringing the equipment needed.
Wherever you are, preserve nature! - take all your garbage with you, put down your camp fire before you go to sleep and don’t mess with the wildlife too much!
