Larry & Melinda have been in Alaska since 1970, and would like to share with you the unique Alaskan wilderness adventures that they have grown to love. Alaska Riding Adventures is a great place for Guided or Un-Guided horseback riding year round on miles of scenic wilderness trails with views of Hatcher Pass and the Talkeetna Mountain range. Ride on your choice of: flat wilderness terrain trails, trails along the creek or mountain side trails. Receive a FREE horseback ride for your Birthday, call for details!!! In addition to our Trail Rides we also offer Snowmobile Tours, Dog Sledding Tours, Hiking Tours and/or an occasional Llama Trek. Whether you'd like to ride, hike or just relax in "The Land of The Midnight Sun," you'll enjoy any combination of our Tour Packages at Alaska Riding Adventures. We have a number of Other Services and things to do that are available for anyone wanting to just relax, camp out/picnic or just "hang out" here at the ranch or retreat. We're only minutes from other nearby Area Attractions. You'll be experiencing "The Last Frontier" in one of our states most loved areas. Here in the Mat-Su Valley, Hatcher Pass has it all. Alaska Riding Adventures and Hatcher Pass Frontier Retreat is located on the same road as the famous Hatcher Pass - Independence Mine that once produced much gold. You'll have the opportunity to Pan for Gold. Gold Panning can be tried by any age group.
